2025 White Lemberger Estate Bottled | Red Mountain

Lately we've found ourselves gravitating towards crisp, fruit-forward, elegant wines, perfect for board game night and summer stargazing. The idea was simple but the solution was anything but. How does one produce a wine in this style on Red Mountain, renowned for red wines with power, structure, tannin, and concentration?

The answer, as it turned out, was Lemberger, an uncommon grape that we've built into a Washington State institution over the last 50 years. Our planting at the Kiona Estate vineyard checked all the boxes: an intrinsic fruit-forward profile, vibrant, well-balanced acidity, and bigger berries (resulting in lighter, less concentrated color and tannins).

By picking earlier and eliminating skin contact, we treated these red old-vine Lemberger grapes like a white wine from day one, resulting in a one-of-one offering unlike anything else on the west coast. Just 119 cases produced.
